Full-Time Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English / Spanish)

· Salary $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Job Opportunities

· Warmly greet patients and provide assistance as needed.

· Efficiently register patients into our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

· Assist patients with completing necessary forms and verify their insurance eligibility.

· Optimize the daily schedule to minimize patient wait times.

· Confirm patient appointments and arrange car services as required.

· Prepare clearance letters and manage medical records with referring physicians.

· Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information accurately.

· Reschedule appointments for no-show patients and expedite data entry and insurance verification.

· Handle co-payments and provide patients with printed receipts.

· Generate daily transaction reports for co-pays and procedures.

· Assist in fulfilling medical records requests while maintaining confidentiality.

· Conduct clinical tasks, including EKGs, vital sign measurements, and phlebotomy as needed.

Educational Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proficiency in medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses.

· Familiarity with EHR/EMR software applications.

· Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures.

· Working knowledge of healthcare insurance practices.

Work Environment

· Typical duties include scheduling, phone call handling, visitor greeting, and correspondence.

· Workdays are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.

· Standard 8-hour shifts, typically starting at 9 AM and concluding at 8 PM.

· In-person work location at our clinic, outpatient facility, or private practice.

· Specialization in cardiology.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical terminology and medical receptionist duties.

· Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.

· Willingness to travel locally, approximately 25% of the time.
