Meet Dr. Avaricio
Michael Avaricio, MD, at Advanced Cardiac Care PLLC, is an exceptional, board-certified cardiologist who combines compassionate care with state-of-the-art cardiovascular services. He devotes extra time to talk with each patient, listening to their concerns, and ensuring they receive customized care at his practice in the Ozone Park area of Queens, New York.
Dr. Avaricio serves as a specialist on each patient’s health care team, where he collaborates with all the practitioners working together to protect the individual’s health. He frequently communicates with primary care physicians on the team, ensuring coordinated care that promotes cardiovascular well-being.
Dr. Avaricio received his medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. During his residency, he was honored to serve as Chief Medical Resident in the North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System. He then completed his cardiovascular training at the prestigious Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Avaricio welcomes new patients needing preventive care and medical management of cardiovascular conditions, including high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He speaks multiple languages, including Spanish, English and Tagalog.
